Is Now the time to try Yoga?
Updated: Apr 21, 2020
Have you been wanting to try Yoga, but afraid that you don't know the terminology? You're not flexible? It looks difficult? Let us put those fears to rest!

With the opening of Moon River Wellness Center a few (Weeks? Months?) away, we thought it would be a good idea to address folks concerns about practicing Yoga. Actually we are here to take the concern out of the equation. Yoga is for every body and every level. We will be running classes at all levels, but even if you think it looks difficult, our instructors are all trained to show you how to start into the pose; how to use props to help you relax into a pose.
The key here is that everyone's practice is there own. Don't worry about what is happening on the mat next to you. The most important thing that you can know, is that wherever you are is perfect.
We are already planning on intro seminars for our community. IWe have instructors that will run short classes to introduce you to the terminology, some basic poses, and the importance of breath. They will show you how to use a variety of props. We will have everything on hand, but of course, if you want to bring your own, you are more than welcomed too. There will be sanitizers and washable coverings for all the mats, blocks and bolsters. We take your health to heart.
Don't worry if you can't make a yoga intro seminar. Our instructors are great at keeping an eye on their students to help them along and show them the ropes (or mats in this case!)
But if you don't want to wait, there are places you can check out to learn (or just watch) the basics.
We are so excited to bring this opportunity to our community. There will be a wide array of wellness opportunities available for everyone as well as a very varied lineup of yoga offerings.
