How to relax your muscles at home

Epsom Salts Baths: An handy item to ease your muscle aches and pains.

I just received a call asking if I was open since every massage therapist they have called is closed. I had to inform the caller that technically it is against the current law for Massage Therapists to be taking clients. We are not deemed essential. Unfortunately that is hard for anyone to hear. At the height of people's stress and worry with Covid-19, massage therapy would seem like a much needed solution. However, massage therapy is not compliant with social distancing. So what can one do to help ease the stress and achiness that has set in to their muscles? May I suggest an Epsom Salt Bath.

Epsom Salts are magnesium sulfate and a good natural source for muscle relaxation. An Epsom Salt bath is a good 2nd choice if you are needing a massage for achy muscles right now. A bath will also allow you 20 - 30 minutes of meditative contemplation and forcing you to completely unplug.

If you don't have any Epsom Salts in your bathroom right now, plan on picking some up the next time you need to run out for groceries. You can find them near the bandages and cotton balls (I'd say isopropyl alcohol but that seems to be scarce on the shelves these day).

Add a couple drops of essential oils or teabags of your favorite dried herbs to your bath to really set the tone of "This moment is for your health".
