Reflexology operates under the premise that a map of the body is reflected on the feet or hands. These reflexes are capable of indirectly influencing the internal blood flow and function of the organs, body systems and associated structures, so that bio-energetic and nerve pathways can be unblocked and optimized to improve our overall well-being.
Reflexology can treat conditions via the reflexes when it is not possible to treat them directly. It is also capable of producing profound and deep relaxation both physically and mentally, making it a strong pain manager and reliever.
Reflexology relaxes, repairs, restores, and revitalizes. It is a powerful preventative therapy providing an extremely relaxed, positive, recharged experience.
Benefits may include:
Improved Blood and Lymph Circulation
Balances the nervous system
Promotes balance in physical, mental, emotional, and energetic levels.
Beneficial for managing pain
Helps with managing blood pressure
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage therapy helps melt away tension, ease muscle stiffness, and increase circulation and metabolism. Hot stones, when coupled with massage, also help to expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body.
K - Tape
What does it Do?
The tape works by providing sensory input through sub-cutaneous (below the skin) free nerve endings. For many, it's like taking a bit of massage therapy home with you.
How does it work?
Kinesiology tape or as it has become known, “K-Tape”, is primarily used to treat pain. The tape essentially works as a communication system between the area of pain and the brain (central nervous system). It does this by providing sensory input to the skin.
This ancient tool has been adapted for bodywork and is powerfully therapeutic for many conditions. Cupping therapy is effective in addressing conditions such as inflammation, tissue congestion, movement restrictions, scar tissue, and chronic pain.
This versatile technique mimics massage movements ranging from deep tissue and myo-fascial release to the light pumping movements of lymphatic drainage.
Cupping is available for 60, 75 and 90 minute sessions.
